Scraplift a layout from social media - Por Else

Hello scrappy friends!
Thank you for stopping by today! I wanted to share an easy but colourful layout with you. Some days I feel really creative and everything seems to fall into place. But some days I feel like my inspiration has run out...
What I like to do is look on Pinterest or Instagram for scrapbooklayouts that others have made, so I can take inspiration from them (on my Pinterest-account I have a board 'Scrappy goodness' where I've collected many pretty layouts!). That's what I did today; I chose a layout with a grid background from patterned paper squares.

I used the Caroussel collection by Maggie Holmes and cut out 6-8 squares of different patterned paper. I layed them out on my page in a grid pattern. I also cut out 2 tickets from the specialty paper from the collection to layer on top of the squares.

I layered some tags and labels under my picture and added some florals and puffy stickers from the Maggie Holmes Chasing Dreams collection. Both of the collections look really good together. I decided the top and bottom of the layout were a little to empty, so I added strips of tickets and labels from the collections.
Because of the example from Pinterest I didn't have to think so hard about my background, and the embellishing of the layout came naturally once I started to create.
I hope you'll give it a try when you are feeling low on inspiration. I hope you have a great and creative day, see you next time!
